By joining the Ruffed Grouse Society, you will have the ability to directly impact the creation of young forest habitat throughout the country --and will enjoy the subsequent benefits of increased populations of not only grouse and woodcock, but also deer, songbirds and other species that require this habitat.RGS members and non-members benefit from improved hunting and bird watching opportunities that result from RGS-sponsored, private and public habitat improvement projects all across Canada. The RGS publishes a glossy four-color magazine four times each year to report on current and future RGS habitat research and restoration projects, report on chapter news, provide how-to and where to information about how to manage land, hunting ruffed grouse and woodcock, and provide entertaining articles written by members and contributors.
